In order to maintain the communication necessary to provide an enjoyable and professionally-run gaming community, meetings will be regularly and consistently held throughout WPG. Members are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings if applicable. Excessive unexcused absences may result in demotion.

Any Recruit or member of WPG may seek to transfer from one battalion to another. However, such a transfer must be disclosed to the Colonel(s) and approved by the General(s) overseeing the Battalions involved in the transfer. 1.6 Voluntary Departure.
Members choosing to voluntarily leave WPG for any reason other than to join another gaming community or clan as outlined in Rule 2.2 are allowed to return to WPG one (1) time after such a departure so long as the voluntary departure was not in conjunction with or somehow related to any violation of the WPG Honor Code, these WPG Regulations, or any other WPG rule. Members who desire to return to WPG after having voluntarily departing no more than one (1) time may do so subject to the following guidelines:

(A) Ranks of Lieutenant or Higher. Any member who left WPG while serving at the rank of Lieutenant or higher is allowed to return to WPG but must start at the rank of Sergeant upon their return unless specific approval has been given by a Major General or Leader.

(B) Ranks of Sergeant or Lower. Any member who left WPG while serving at the rank of Sergeant or below is allowed to return to WPG but must start at the rank of Corporal upon their return unless specific approval has been given by a Major General or Leader.

(C) Recruits. These rules do not apply to Recruits who have voluntarily left WPG while serving as a Recruit. A Recruit is allowed to return to WPG at any time as a Recruit but the minimum five (5) day recruitment period must start over.

II. Discipline

1.7 Retirement conditions.
Any member who retires from the rank structure of WPG will voluntarily surrender their position in the ranks. If that member wishes to return to the rank structure then they will enter back into the structure at two positions lower than the rank they had when they retired. This applies to any retired member who was at the rank of colonel or lower. Any member of leadership (|G or higher) who retires and then returns will be placed at a rank the leadership sees fit. Any returning member who is placed at a rank upon their return from retirement will assume that rank and must re-obtain there previous position. Special exceptions may be made based upon the leaderships decision.

2.1 Disciplinary Sanctions.
Violations of the WPG Honor Code, the WPG Regulations, or any other WPG rule will be handled according to the following:

(A) Discipline. A member found to be in violation of the WPG Honor Code, the WPG Regulations, or any other WPG rule may be subjected to disciplinary sanctions including (1) a warning, (2) demotion, or (3) permanent removal from WPG.

(B) Disciplinary Board. A member disagreeing with a sanction imposed may appeal the sanction to the WPG Disciplinary Board as outlined in Rule 2.3.

2.2 Permanent Ban for Joining another Community.
Any member, other than a Recruit, who leaves WPG in connection with joining, creating, or otherwise aiding another gaming community or clan shall be banned from WPG and the WPG Website. Should any member previously banned under this rule desire to return to WPG, he or she must appeal to the Disciplinary Board as outlined in Rule 2.3. In reviewing whether the banned member should be allowed to return to WPG, the Disciplinary Board is to consider the circumstances surrounding that member’s departure from WPG, including whether the member disparaged WPG, disrespected WPG members, or attempted to poach or recruit WPG members. Any banned member allowed to return to WPG by the Disciplinary Board is to return at the rank they would have held under Rule 1.6 had they voluntarily departed WPG.

2.3 Disciplinary Board.

(A) Board Members. The Major General appointed to oversee the Disciplinary Board shall select five (5) Colonels to serve on the Disciplinary Board. Each Colonel selected will serve on the Disciplinary Board for a term of two (2) months. In the event a Colonel selected to serve is unavailable, either as a result of promotion, demotion, scheduling conflict, or a conflict of interest, the overseeing Major General can appoint a replacement Colonel for the length of time needed under the circumstances.

(B) Appeal to Disciplinary Board. Any member demoted or permanently removed by someone with the rank of General or below may appeal the sanction to the Disciplinary Board. Sanctions imposed by a Major General or Leader are not appealable to the Disciplinary Board. Major Generals and Leaders may waive the shield for Disciplinary Board review as they may see fit.

(C) Decisions By Disciplinary Board. The Disciplinary Board has the power to affirm, modify, or reverse the sanction given. However, any decision by the Disciplinary Board must be approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the Colonels serving as Board Members. The overseeing Major General is a non-voting member of the Disciplinary Board. Other than the Colonels serving on the Disciplinary Board, the Major General overseeing the Disciplinary Board, the appealing party, and any witnesses to the event(s) at issue, no other WPG members should be present during the Disciplinary Board proceedings.

(D) Appeal from Disciplinary Board. Any member permanently removed may appeal the decision of the Disciplinary Board to the overseeing Major General. If the overseeing Major General is unavailable, the member may appeal directly to the Major Generals as a group.
